Why I Wrote This Book
Some stories illuminate
the future.
Some stories are written simply to remember the past.
Others are written to illuminate the future.
Rooted in Grace™ is my personal journey through seasons of faith, perseverance, loss, restoration, leadership, and purpose. It is a reflection on how life’s greatest challenges can become the very foundation upon which God builds our greatest calling.
My hope is that every reader discovers renewed courage, deeper faith, and the confidence to continue walking in purpose, no matter where their own journey begins.

An Early Published Work
The Writer Before
the Memoir
Long before Rooted in Grace began taking shape, Pia Copeland’s literary voice appeared in print through poetry.
In 1989, writing as Pia Althea Clarke, she was one of 160 writers honored from more than 12,000 entries with an Editor’s Choice Award from The National Library of Poetry. Her poem “Wedding Night” was published in the anthology Days of Future’s Past.
This early recognition represents an important milestone in Pia’s development as a writer. What began through poetry has continued to evolve through personal reflection, editorial storytelling, Founder Insight™, leadership writing, and her forthcoming memoir, Rooted in Grace.
